NEWS!

The TCHCC Board of Directors named Lorenda Polasek and Georgia Vyvial as co-chairs of the TCHCC Guild. They will contact volunteers and develop a schedule of workers for each month. Volunteers are needed to answer the phone, to greet and conduct tours with visitors, to work in the gift shop, to work in the library, to help in the museum, to help set up, take down, and to work during special events. If you are interested, call 1-888-785-4500. An interest form will be mailed to you.


Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center receives Texas Historical Foundation Grant

The Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center was notified of Grant of $5,000.00 from the Texas Historical Foundation to support the completion of the construction of the Museum, Library and Archive complex.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic Grant to TCHCC

The Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center was the recipient of a grant of $4,995.00 from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.  The money was donated in support of the publication of the 2009 newsletter and calendar, and for the restoration of the Hluchnek-Salas House.
