How to find out what resolution your screen is at:

Don't know what your resolution is? Finding out is easy! Here is how you do it:

  • Go to your desktop (the screen that you see when no other programs are running).
  • Place your cursor on an area that does not have any icons.
  • Right click on your mouse, a menu will pop up.\
  • Move your mouse over the choice "Properties" (the last one).
  • A box with "Display Properties" at the top will appear.
  • Click on the tab (near the top) that says "Settings".
  • Near the bottom right, you will see an area called "Screen area" and a bar. Just below that bar it will say what resolution you are at, for example: 1024 by 768 pixels. That means that the screen resolution is set at 1024 x 768.
  • Click OK or Cancel to close the window.

Now you know what your screen resolution is!
