How to find out
what resolution your screen is at:
Don't know what your resolution is?
Finding out is easy! Here is how you do it:
Go to your desktop (the screen
that you see when no other programs are running).
Place your cursor on an area that does not have
any icons.
Right click on your mouse, a menu will pop up.\
Move your mouse over the choice "Properties"
(the last one).
A box with "Display Properties" at the
top will appear.
Click on the tab (near the top) that says "Settings".
Near the bottom right, you will see an area called
"Screen area" and a bar. Just below that bar it will
say what resolution you are at, for example: 1024 by 768 pixels.
That means that the screen resolution is set at 1024 x 768.
