On Saturday, Nov. 1, the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center, Inc., located next to
the Fayette County Fairgrounds, held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the dedication of thier
new amphitheater. Diring the ceremony, Sanford Schmidt issued a $50,000 matching
challenge to provide lighting and additional amphitheater requirements.
